George E. Pickett's First Wife's grave at Shockoe Hill Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. Sally Harrison Minge was the daughter of Dr. John Minge and the great-great-grandniece of President William Henry Harrison and the great-great granddaughter of Benjamin Harrison, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. They were married in January, 1851 and she died later that November at Fort Gates, Texas during child birth.

Confederate Brigadier General Patrick Theodore Moore's headstone in Shockoe Hill Cemetery. Moore was born in Galway. Ireland and at the end of the war commanded Richmond's
local defense troops.
