 On May 29th 2011 The Pickett Chapter and Virginia Society MOSB participated in a Memorial Day Ceremony at Historic St. John's Church in Richmond. Representatives from the Virginia Society Order of the Founders and Patriots of America, Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Virginia, Virginia Society Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Revolution in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Society of the War of 1812 in the Commonwealth of Virginia each laid wreaths in memory of individuals buried in the cemetery.

Past Pickett Chapter Commander Allen Mock and Taylor Cowardin are pictured below at the monument of Reverend Alexander W. Weddell who was Captain of the 41st Virginia infantry and later Rector of St. John's Church.
